HP announced 2 convertible laptops/tablet. One running on Windows and the other on Android.

While everybody is hyped with what Google's gonna announce at the annually Google I/O, HP
silently publicized the two convertible laptop-tablet.

The first is the Split x2. It's a Windows 8 running tablet-laptop and it's basically just a laptop with a detachable screen (Actually it can fit for an ultrabook spec since it has a SSD for storage and it's too big for a tablet.)
It has a 13.3" IPS LCD screen with .... uhh 1366x768 (Y U NO FULL HD?) and powered by a 3rd generation ivy bridge i3 or i5 with  the combination of 2 gig of ddr3 RAM which is upgradable and has a 128gig of SSD for storage. You can opt to an addtional 500gig of HDD if you need more space.

For the media department, the laptop has 2 cameras. It has an 8 megapixel cam on the back that is capable of taking video upto 1080p and a front cam camera that can also take up to 1080p of video but no definite resolution. The stereo speakers are powered by the Beats and has a Beats application for the equalizer and sound adjustments.

The dock offers an SD and micro SD card reader, an HDMI port for wired streaming, 1 usb 3.0 and 1 usb 2.0. The dock also features a full size qwerty keyboard, a touch pad and it's own battery! (For longer hours of the laptop usage.)

The second tablet-laptop convertible is the Slatebook x2, a smaller and android version of the Split x2.

It has a 10.1" Full HD! 1080x1920 (around 224ppi) IPS LCD screen that is capable of showing 400 Nits of brightness as for the media department it has an 8 megapixel rear camera that is capable of shooting 1080p video and a front facing camera that is capable of 720p video. It also has a stereo speaker with DTS+ sound which should make the audio quality better.

The dock has an HDMI port if you want to stream your screen content to an HDTV or Computer monitor, a USB 2.0 and it's own battery for tablet charging.

We'll get back to the specs once we have the final specs.
